Hot Lunches and Snacks
Senior Center presents seniors with a warm, inviting and stimulating place to socialize with friends while enjoying refreshments and a daily hot lunch.

Health and Wellness
Senior Vision Care, Presentation, Q&A, and Free Screenings. Interactive Stroke Seminar, Preventative Measures, Detecting the Signs.

Computer Classes
One-on-one tutorials at the Center help seniors to learn basic computer knowledge and improve their skills. Email and Skype.

Education and Life Enrichment
The Center offers opportunities for seniors to learn, participate in classes, group discussions about interesting and relevant topics.

Games Recreation and Entertainment
Senior Center programming, Fun, interactive & recreational activities. Documentaries and other films of special interest to seniors.

Emergency Medical Alert
CMC strongly encourages & facilitates seniors living alone to obtain an emergency medical button. These buttons actually save seniors’ lives.

Free Medicar Transportation
Free medicar transportation available to help patients get to doctor appointments, family gatherings, social events, & other important destinations.

Medicine Management
New-to-the-market automated medicine dispenser that combines ease of use with technologically savvy features. Staying on top of medication dosages.

Hospital and Nursing Home Visitations
Weekly Chaplain visitations to Jewish patients at an ever-increasing number of Chicago land hospitals. At a time of vulnerability & disorientation.

Meals for Patients and their Families
CMC arranges, sponsors free kosher guest meals to be conveniently and quickly provided to a patient’s visitors.

Weekly Shabbos Packages for Patients
Shabbos care package, complete with grape juice, challahs, a thoughtful & heartfelt get-well message. Electric candelabras for safe candle lighting.

Free Grocery Delivery
Free Grocery Delivery For Seniors & Homebound Patients. Make weekly in-store or over-the-phone grocery orders, no minimum order.

Holiday Awareness and Celebrations
Celebrate with more than a thousand Jewish residents of local nursing and retirement homes. Holiday narratives & observances for the senior residents.

Patient and Family Support
Chaplains spend countless hours together with patients & their families. We provide practical assistance, offer emotional support & counsel.

Telephone Reassurance Program
Telephone reassurance program is a free service for senior or infirm citizen living alone. Provide a safety net in case of unforeseen emergency.

Hospitality Suites
For Patients, family members, visitors, faculty, Shabbat and holiday accommodations that are adjacent to some local hospitals.

End Of Life Services
In the event of loss, Chaplains provide Spiritual Counsel, support Traditional Jewish Practices & religious observances for family members.

Other Services
Use CMC Tallit, Tefillin and Siddurim. Call the hospital’s pastoral care office or the CMC to obtain your “bedside refrigerator.

Around-the-Clock Monitoring
Help & support to members of the entire Chicago Jewish community. CMC may be contacted to provide personnel for around-the-clock monitoring.
