Telephone Reassurance Program
Are You Worried About Our Seniors?
A senior or infirm citizen living alone may:
- feel lonely or insecure
- need support and encouragement
- want to prevent premature institutionalization
The CMC’s telephone reassurance program is a free service that makes regular phone calls to its participants, in order to provide:
- a friendly familiar voice of reassurance
- a safety net in case of unforeseen emergency situations that may otherwise pass undetected
- reminders and encouragement to take responsibility for daily living necessities
- social contact with the outside world
