Are You Worried About Our Seniors?

A senior or infirm citizen living alone may:

  • feel lonely or insecure
  • need support and encouragement
  • want to prevent premature institutionalization

The CMC’s telephone reassurance program is a free service that makes regular phone calls to its participants, in order to provide:

  • a friendly familiar voice of reassurance
  • a safety net in case of unforeseen emergency situations that may otherwise pass undetected
  • reminders and encouragement to take responsibility for daily living necessities
  • social contact with the outside world
