Rabbi Aron Wolf

Rabbi Aron Wolf is Vice-President, Director and founder of the Chicago Mitzvah Campaign. After formally establishing the organization in 1999, he has continuously grown the company’s programs and services, providing an increasingly greater positive impact for patients and seniors throughout the Chicagoland Jewish community. In addition to directing and overseeing all of the CMC’s 30-plus programs and services, Rabbi Wolf is responsible for the CMC’s financial administration. He also continues to make weekly hospital visits, and provides counseling and POA services to patients and families.

Prior to founding the CMC, Rabbi Wolf spent twelve years as a teacher and fundraiser for Cheder Lubavitch of Chicago, and six years as a Hebrew day school administrator in Los Angeles.

Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Wolf

Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Wolf has been Director of Development at Chicago Mitzvah Campaign since 2016. His responsibilities include researching and developing new CMC programs and services, as well as developing additional sources of revenue and cost-saving strategies. Prior to joining the CMC, Rabbi Wolf spent three years as Director of Development for a Jewish school in Cincinnati. Previously, Rabbi Wolf studied at Rabbinical colleges in France, Ohio, and New York.

Rabbi Raphael Jaworowski

Rabbi Raphael Jaworowski has served as a chaplain and case manager at the Chicago Mitzvah Campaign since 2007. Rabbi Jaworowski makes weekly visits to hospital patients, and is responsible for the CMC’s “ICAS” program, providing crisis management, counseling and support services to vulnerable, at-risk seniors in the community. He also conducts classes at the CMC Senior Center and at senior homes and care facilities. Rabbi Jaworowski writes articles for the CMC’s weekly highlights email and monthly newsletter publication, and is responsible for the CMC’s home-koshering service.
Before joining the CMC, Rabbi Jaworowski served as a teacher and principal at a Jewish high school in New York. Previously, he studied at Rabbinical colleges in Australia, and New Jersey, before completing his studies and receiving Rabbinical ordination in Israel.

Rabbi Levi Liberow

Rabbi Levi Liberow joined the CMC in 2019. His responsibilities include expanding the CMC’s menu of Torah classes at the CMC Senior Center and for individual homebound patients at their places of residence. Prior to joining the CMC, Rabbi Liberow served as principal of a Yeshiva in Argentina. Previously, he studied at Rabbinical colleges in New York and Australia. Jill Lakser

Jill Lakser is Office Manager of the Chicago Mitzvah Campaign. Jill joined the CMC shortly after its inception, in May 2001, after having moved to Skokie from the East Coast.

Lisa Burnstein

As a Senior Services Coordinator at the CMC since 2015, Lisa’s responsibilities include working directly with Senior Center and CMC clients, coordination of senior center programming, and outreach. Lisa is instrumental to the daily functioning of the medical transportation program, scheduling appointments and coordinating the daily routes. Lisa’s previous experience was in post-secondary education at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies and the ORT Technical Institute.
