ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL NEEDS
Shopping and Delivery: CMC is shopping for and delivering food orders, medications, and other essential personal items and household goods from local stores (including Jewel-Osco, Kol Tuv, Hungarian, and other local produce stores and pharmacies). Fresh-Cooked Special Meals for Shabbat and Yom Tov: For seniors and/or patients who are unable to cook, prepare or obtain their own meals, and for others who usually rely year-round on host invitations for Shabbat and Yom Tov, and cannot do so at the present time because of the Covid-19 crisis. Transportation: Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, CMC continues to provide medicar transportation for patients, with rigorous social distancing protocols in place, and for essential medical appointments only. Click here for more information or to request this service.
Running Errands: CMC is offering to help senior and quarantined patients with running errands such as going to the post-office, bank, etc. Click here for more information or to request this service.

ESSENTIAL SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS
Daily Torah Classes: CMC has added to our schedule of daily Torah classes and periodic special lectures that are now freely available to everyone via two methods of “remote access” – by “Zoom” video conferencing, and also by telephone conference call. Telephone Reassurance: Monitoring the wellbeing of hundreds of vulnerable, isolated seniors; providing friendship, connection and emotional warmth; helping seniors understand the Covid-19 crisis and its ramifications; working together to identify available services and implement solutions.
